This release of SQL Agent Insights focused on proxies, namely creating, deleting and modifying them. Previous versions just showed the data, but with this release, all of your proxy requirements are met directly within SQL Agent Insights. New Features / Improvements
- The Proxies form has a new context menu with the following features:
- Create a new proxy,
- Scripting a proxy as either Create or Delete,
- Enable and Disable a selected proxy,
- Delete a selected proxy, and,
- Viewing the properties of an existing proxy with the ability to modify said proxy.
- Proxy grid UI changes: Principals pop-up grid column name changes and ability to sort specific columns.
- Proxy grid UI changes: left align some columns.
- Proxy grid UI changes: Active Subsystems are no longer listed as text, but the count is shown instead and clickable, revealing a pop-up control for a cleaner interface.
- The ability to enable or disable an operator from the Operator context menu.
- License file extended to November 1, 2024.
Bug Fixes
- Regression: System tray icon would remain after closing SQL Agent Insights via the applications ‘X’ button.
